Allowed, as prayed for.
Main case Apprehending threat to their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents, the petitioner aged about 58 years, who is serving as President of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Dhuri since 18.03.2007, has filed the present petition, praying for issuance of directions to the official respondents to ensure his safety.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that by virtue of holding a responsible position in the City, the petitioner has earned a good-will. Under his leadership, Charitable Hospital, School and Temple etc have been set up. It has been alleged that the private respondents are nursing ill-will against the petitioner and have threatened him many a times. In this context, a representation dated MANOJ KUMAR 2025.11.29 04:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order 27.10.2025 (P.2) was also moved by the petitioner to the Sr. Superintendent of
CRWP-12005-2025 (O&M) Police, Sangrur, which till date, has not been decided. He further submits that the statement given by the ASI on the previous date of hearing to the effect that petitioner had suffered a statement that he does not wish to proceed further with the present petition is totally incorrect. Affidavit of the petitioner clarifying the entire facts has been placed on record.

Insofar as the present petition is concerned, learned counsel for the petitioner limits his prayer to direct the official respondents to decide representation dated 27.10.2025 (P.2), moved by the petitioner. 4.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 4 and has no objection in deciding the representation filed on behalf of the petitioner. 6.
