This is a petition under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Sections 12 and 15 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for initiation of proceedings against the respondents for willful disobedience of order dated 22.08.2024 passed in CRWP-7304-2024, wherein directions were issued to the respondents to complete the investigation within a period of one month and final report was to be presented immediately thereafter. 2.

Additional affidavit dated 24.09.2025 filed by Sh. Jaspinder Singh, PPS, Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Zirakpur, District SAS Nagar on behalf of respondent No.3 is taken on record. Registry to scan the same and tag at the appropriate place. It has been stated in the affidavit that FIR No.0330 dated 28.07.2024 under Sections 309(4), 310(2), 308(2), 331(6) and 111 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 was registered at Police Station Zirakpur, SAS Nagar against 18 named accused and 10 to 15 unknown JITENDER KUMAR 2025.09.25 10:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

COCP-5335-2024 -2persons. Out of the named accused, initially 08 persons were arrested and thereafter, based on the investigation, 06 more were nominated as accused and arrested. Thereafter, one more accused was arrested. After completion of the investigation, separate final police report under Section 193 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 was prepared against the accused persons and has been presented before the Court concerned. It has further been stated that 02 other accused had applied for pre-arrest bail, which were dismissed, and their arrest warrants have been obtained. There are certain accused who remained unidentified and untraced report has been presented qua them. 3.

In view of the additional affidavit 24.09.2025, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed off. Rule stands discharged. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
