The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking setting aside of orders dated 14.11.2024 (Annexure P-7 and P-8) whereby respondents No.4 to 10 have been promoted as clerks in Executive Clerical Cadre (English and Accounts Branch).

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gurugram adopted malpractices and promoted private respondents in arbitrary and mala fide manner. The petitioners have made representations which have been disposed of by Deputy Commissioner of Police itself. The matter should be considered by higher authority. The petitioners have been victimized on account of filing complaints and instant petition before this Court.

Learned State counsel submits that Commissioner of Police, Gurugram would consider representation as well as grievance of the petitioners and pass an appropriate order within two months after granting them opportunity of hearing.
