3 &who stated that he had arranged the marriage of his son, Sachin, with Seeta daughter of Parshuram, resident of village Essepur, Raghurampur, Police Station Bangarmau. District, Unnav, Uttar Pradesh. It
is further averred that approximately one month prior to the scheduled marriage, Sachin began exhibiting signs of anxiety, however, despite repeated inquiries, he did not disclose the reason for the same. On 5th October 2023, Sachin is stated to have committed suicide by hanging. It is submitted that following inquiry by the police authorities, the last rites of the deceased were performed. Subsequently, the complainant discovered a voice recording on the mobile phone of the deceased, wherein Sachin stated that Seeta had deceived her parents and that she, along with one Nuren, had conspired against him. It was further stated that in the voice recording that Nuren and his family had threatened to kill the deceased and that, upon his visit to the village, he was confronted and threatened at gunpoint.
It was also stated in the recording that Seeta had orchestrated such acts and had provided information regarding his movements. It was also alleged in the said recording that the deceased expressed apprehension that Seeta intended to have him killed through third parties, while avoiding suspicion. The deceased declared that he was taking his own life so that no other person would be blamed and that his parents were not at fault. The deceased further attributed responsibility for his actions to Seeta, alleging her conduct and involvement with other persons. On the basis of the aforesaid voice recording, the complainant arrested that his son was driven to commit suicide due to instigation and conduct of Seeta and sought action against her.
