On 10.11.2025, this Court had passed the following order:- "1. Assailing the administrative decision whereby the petitioners' applications for the grant of scholarship were rejected, learned counsel for the petitioners, inter alia, submits that despite the petitioners having been born in the State of Punjab, and despite the certificates declaring them to fall within the "Scheduled Caste" category having been issued by the State of Punjab, their claim for scholarship has been rejected.
2. Notice of motion.
3. Mr. Sahil R. Bakshi, A.A.G., Punjab, waives service of notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3. He is directed to file a short reply positively at least two days prior to the next date of hearing.
4. Subject to the requisite process fee being furnished by learned counsel for the petitioners, notice be issued to respondent No. 4.
5. List on 28.11.2025 in the urgent list.
6. It is made clear that on the next date of hearing, no request for adjournment shall be entertained on behalf of either side except for strong and compelling reasons."

Today, learned State counsel has furnished a letter dated DEVINDER YADAV 2025.11.29 11:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment
CWP-33203-2025 20.11.2025, accompanied by the Free Ship Cards of the petitioners, which are taken on record as 'Mark A'. He submits that since the grievance of the petitioners, as raised in their representation (Annexure P-10), now stands redressed with the issuance of the Free Ship Cards, no cause of action survives.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that since the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed, he does not wish to press the instant writ petition.

Consequently, the instant writ petition is dismissed, as not pressed.
