 The petitioner apprehends arrest in respect of offence of attempt to murder in case FIR No. 57 dated 12.07.2024 under Sections 118(1), 351, 3(5) and 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita-2023 (Section 109 of BNS added later), registered at Police Station Julkan, District Patiala, where he is alleged with causing injury on the vital part of the body i.e. skull. The injury has been opined by the medical expert to be dangerous to life. The petitioner is the main accused and therefore, he is not entitled for grant of anticipatory bail. The petition for grant of anticipatory bail stands dismissed.
