On 19.12.2024, the following order was passed by this Court:- "Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that respondent No.2 is a society registered under Societies Registration Act, 1860. It is financed and controlled by Chandigarh Administration. The petitioners are working with respondent No.2 for more than 10 years. They were appointed after following regular process. Their appointment was not a back-door entry. The respondent on the earlier occasion has also regularized employees who had completed 10 years of service. The respondent No.3 has recommended to respondent No.1 to regularize the petitioners. Notice of motion returnable for 05.03.2025.

In the wake of above statement of learned counsel for the respondent, the petition stands disposed of.

It is made clear that respondent before addressing representation of the petitioners would take into consideration judgment of this Court titled 'Dildeep Singh Vs. Municipal Corporation Chandigarh and Ors.' 2025(3) SLJ 178. It is further made clear that in the intervening period no adverse order with respect to appointment of the petitioners would be passed.
