Present petition has been filed by the petitioner, for quashing of the FIR and all proceedings emanated therefrom, registered vide FIR No.118, dated 11.10.2017, under Section(s) 472, 473, 384, 420, 120-B of IPC, registered at Police Station Phase-11, District SAS Nagar, Mohali. 2.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that there were two criminal cases registered against the petitioner i.e. (1) FIR No.158 dated 11.10.2017 registered under Section 30 of the Arms Act, 1959, at Police Station Mataur, District SAS Nagar, Mohali, and (2) FIR No.118 dated 11.10.2017 registered under Sections 472, 473, 384, 420, 120-B of I.P.C. registered at Police Station Phase 11, District SAS Nagar, Mohali.

At this stage, on being asked by the Court, counsel for the petitioner informs that in both the cases, petitioner has been found innocent. Therefore, he be allowed to withdraw the present petition.

Taking into consideration the statement made by counsel for the petitioner, present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
