Status report by way of affidavit of Rampal, Sub Inspector/SHO, Police Station Guhla has been filed in Court today. The same be kept on record. Copy thereof has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioners.

The relevant portion of the said status report reads thus: '4. That the matter was thoroughly enquired by respondent no.3 through SI Shbhash Chand. During the course of enquiry, police tried to contact the petitioners but the contact number 74049- 72050 of the petitioners was lying switch off. Police also contacted the private respondents no.4 to 6 and their statements were separately recorded by the police on 25.12.2024. Private respondent no.4 stated that he is resident of said address and used to do the labour work. He has one son and four daughters. Elder daughter is Jyoti, younger to her Kavita, younger to her Ashwani Kumar 2025.01.08 17:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP No.12470 of 2024 -2Chiman, younger to him Sonia and youngest daughter is Madhu who is 19 years of age, who went from the house on 11.3.2024 without telling anything. We have searched our daughter Madhu, we came to know that Rohit son of Shamsher r/o village Theh Butana had abducted our daughter with the intention to marry with her. He has got lodged a case FIR no. 79 dated 12.03.2024 U/S 366 IPC P.S. Guhla by moving complaint in this regard. He and his family members have no objection for living his daughter Madhu with Rohit son of Shamsher of our village in live-inrelation nor we will say anything to them, they can live anywhere. Similarly, private respondents no.5 & 6 also got recorded their statements in which they got recorded that they have no objection with the live-inrelationship of the petitioners. Copies of statement of private respondents are Annexure R1 to R3.
5. That an FIR No.79 dated 12.03.2024 Under Section 366 IPC Police Station Guhla was got lodged by the private respondent no.4 against the present petitioner no.2 which is pending investigation.' 4.
Having perused the above said status report, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition in hand. 5.
