(Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.185 dated 02.09.2024, registered under Section 498-A IPC, at Police Station Islamabad, Amritsar, District Amritsar, Punjab. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 20.12.2024 passed by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from the Investigating Officer, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation.

In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 20.12.2024 is MOHD YAKUB 2025.01.09 17:06 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh
