The instant petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.108 dated 29.09.2025, registered under Sections 319, 318(4), 308(3), 205, 351 and 61(2) of BNS, at Police Station Ajitwal, District Moga. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required in this case.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and, on instructions from ASI Surjit Singh further submits that the petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 11.11.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS, 2023.
