Instant petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking quashing of the below detailed First Information Report (FIR), and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of the compromise dated 16.12.2024 (Annexure P-2), effected between the parties.

Vide order dated 11.02.2025, the affected parties were directed to appear before the learned Trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate, for getting their respective statements recorded with regard to the compromise. The Trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate was to submit a report in this regard giving certain details as enumerated in the said order.

Pursuant to the aforementioned order, report dated 21.03.2025 has been received by this Court. As per the report, complainant and the victim have stated that no compromise has been arrived at between the parties.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition. 5.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
