Learned counsel would submit that regarding the claim raised in the present petition, a representation dated 01.07.2023 (Annexure P-3) has been submitted by relying on the judgment passed by this Court in Mohinder Singh and others vs. State of Haryana and others, CWP-22516-2012, decided on 01.04.2013 alongwith other connected petitions, which was upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court vide judgment dated 31.01.2017, but the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioners, prays that a direction be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner. 3.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 01.07.2023, Annexure P-3, taking note of the aforesaid judgments, in accordance with law, within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon
