Prayer in the present revision petition is for expeditious disposal of the suit being CS No.636 of 2021 which has been filed by the plaintiff-respondent Nos.1 and 2 for possession by way of specific performance as well as for permanent injunction. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the suit has been pending since 2021 and the same is being adjourned repeatedly. 3.

The dashboard of the District Courts, SAS Nagar (Mohali), available on the website of National Judicial Data Grid reveals the pendency of 11302 such civil suits.

Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case titled as High Court Bar Association, Allahabad Vs. State of U.P. & Ors. [2024 (2) RCR (Civil) 199] has held in para No.37(c) as under :

"37(c) Constitutional Courts, in the ordinary course, should refrain from fixing a time-bound schedule for the Yogesh Sharma 2024.12.21 11:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.

CR-7550-2024 (O&M) -2disposal of cases pending before any other Courts. Constitutional Courts may issue directions for the timebound disposal of cases only in exceptional circumstances. The issue of prioritizing the disposal of cases should be best left to the decision of the concerned Courts where the cases are pending"

No exceptional circumstances have been shown to this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner for issuance of directions to the Court concerned for decision of the said civil suit expeditiously. The present revision petition is, accordingly, dismissed. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
