(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondents no.1 to 8 to protect life, liberty and property of the petitioner and her family members who are under grave threat at the hands of respondents no.10 to 13.

Learned counsel contends that despite repeated representations, no steps have been taken to protect the petitioner's life and liberty by the respondents. He has referred to a representation dated 23.03.2023, Annexure P5, in that regard. It is also contended that the representation has been sent to the official respondents herein, in particular respondent no.4, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, contends that the representation has not been received/marked to the fourth respondent, as contended by learned counsel for the petitioner. However, as the matter has now PAYAL 2025.01.16 10:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
