Prayer in the present petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 3, to decide the representation/complaint of the petitioner, dated 07.12.2024 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with the law and within a time bound manner.

Having received advance copy of the petition, Mr. Davinder Bir Singh, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3.

Since the prayer is innocuous one, issuance of notice to respondent No. 4 is not necessary as it would unnecessarily delay the proceedings.

The State shall remain bound by its statement given in Court today.

It is made clear that this Court is not making any comment on the aforesaid representation, dated 07.12.2024 (Annexure P-1) and the same shall be decided by the concerned authorities on its own merits. 9.
