Present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short 'BNSS') for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.216 dated 26.8.2025 under Sections 109, 115(2), 333, 190, 191(3) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, (Section 238 of BNS added later on), registered at Police Station Sohana, SAS Nagar (Mohali).

Learned State counsel has filed short reply by way of affidavit of Harsimran Singh Bal, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, City-2, SAS Nagar (Mohali) in Court today. The same be kept on record. Copy thereof has been furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Faced with the situation that the main injured person namely ASHWANI KUMAR 2025.12.02 17:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M No.64092 of 2025 Harwinder Singh is yet to be examined as a prosecution witness, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the petition in hand at this stage.
