The contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 15.07.2025 passed in CRWP-65152025 whereby, respondent No.2-Senior Superitendent of Police, Tarn Taran, was directed to decide the application/representation dated 08.05.2025 by passing a speaking order.

Learned counsel for respondent contends that in compliance of order dated 15.07.2025, affidavit of Mr. Surendra Lamba, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran dated 15.12.2025 has been filed and speaking order dated 04.12.2025 handed over in Court today. Copy of the same has been supplied to learned counsel for the petitioner and are also taken on record.

A perusal of speaking order dated 04.12.2025 shows that order dated 15.07.2025 passed in CRWP-6515-2025 has been complied with. MOHD AYUB 2026.02.17 20:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

COCP-5539-2025 (O&M) -24.

In view of the same, the contempt is purged and rule is discharged.

Needless to say that liberty is however granted to the petitioner to challenge the speaking order dated 04.12.2025 in accordance with law. 6.

All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
