The present petition has been filed seeking initiation of proceedings against the respondent under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, for alleged wilful disobedience of the judgment dated 06.09.2011 (Annexure P-1), passed by this Court in CWP-1732-1989, which has been upheld in appeal vide judgment dated 08.05.2025 (Annexure P-4) passed in LPA-260-2012.

Learned counsel for the respondents has filed compliance affidavit dated 02.07.2026, represented to have been passed in deference to the order dated 13.05.2026 passed in this case. The same is taken on record. A copy thereof stands furnished to learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on having received SUMIT KUMAR 2026.07.04 16:28 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

COCP-5544-2025 (O&M) -2telephonic instructions, confirms that the amount has been paid to the petitioner and no grievance survives, as such. Hence, he prays for withdrawal of the present petition.
