On 24.12.2024, following order was passed:- "

By way of the instant petition, the petitioner has sought the relief of anticipatory/pre-arrest bail in the criminal case arisen out of FIR No.0092 dated 20.08.2024 as registered at Police Station Bahawala, District Fazilka, under Sections 118(1), 115(2) & 3(5) of BNS (wherein the offence under Section 118(2) of BNS is stated to have been added later-on vide DDR No.037 dated 18.10.2024). Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter-alia, contends that the petitioner has been got falsely implicated in the criminal case under reference and even otherwise, as per the allegations levelled by the complainant-injured himself in the subject FIR, the petitioner, after entering in the shop, had picked up the Axe, as lying there and this fact shows that the petitioner had no intention to cause any injury to the complainant.

Notice of motion.

Mr. Inderjeet Singh Ladher, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, who has put in appearance in this case in pursuance of the copy of the present petition having been sent to the respondent-State in advance, accepts the notice and he seeks some time to file a detailed status-report in the instant matter. Since as per the stand of the counsel for both the sides, petitioner has already been arrested, therefore, present petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of as such. 3.
