RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J.(ORAL) 1.

Present petition has been filed praying for issuance of direction to official respondents No.2 to 4 to conduct fair and impartial investigation and take strict legal action against private respondents No.5 to 16 in accordance with law for committing offences mentioned in complaint, dated 16.08.2024 and representation, dated 06.09.2024, Annexure P-2. It is further prayed to issue directions to the respondents to decide representation of the petitioners, dated 06.09.2024, Annexure P-2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have already filed representation (Annexure P-2) before DGP, Punjab, on 06.09.2024, however, no action has been taken on the same till date.

Without entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of the petition with a direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, to look into the representation (if any filed before it within a week from today) and decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within one month from the date of its receipt.
