Admittedly, the petitioner was not named in the FIR and was later on, nominated as accused on the basis of the supplementary statement of complainant-Jaspal Singh and it being so, the petitioner was granted interim bail with direction to join investigation with the police by this Court vide its previous order.

Today, counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that in compliance of the said order, the petitioner has joined investigation with the police.
