(ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail in FIR No.75 dated 15.09.2024 under Sections 126(2), 118(1), 115(2), 351(2), 324(4), 191(3), 190, 118(2) of the BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Raman, District Bathinda.

Vide order dated 09.01.2025, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation and the relevant part of the said order reads as under:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that a false and fabricated case having been planted upon the petitioner is evident from the fact that firstly there was an inordinate delay of four days in the lodging of the FIR in question. Furthermore, the petitioner has been attributed a grievous injury on the tip of the right little finger of the complainant." 3.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, does not dispute the factum of the petitioner having joined investigation and cooperated with the investigating agency. He, on further instructions, submits that the petitioner is not required for further investigation much less for his custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 09.01.2025, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) BNSS.
