RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (Oral) 1.

Prayer in the present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in a case FIR No.162 dated 03.11.2024, registered under Sections 109, 115(2), 190, 61(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, at Police Station Sadar Jagraon, District Ludhiana, Punjab. 2.

By virtue of order dated 01.01.2025, while granting interim protection, the petitioner was directed to join the investigation. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and fully cooperated and thus, the interim order may kindly be made absolute.

Status report by way of affidavit of Jasjyot Singh, PPS, DSP, Jagraon, District Ludhiana (Rural), on behalf of respondent-State, has been filed in Court today. The same is taken on record. 4.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Tarsem Singh, has affirmed the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation and she is no more required for further investigation. 5.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 01.01.2025 is made absolute subject to compliance of conditions as envisaged under Section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
