Sir, that a woman named Lakhvir Kaur, mobile numbers 7657878777 and 7626918302, resident of Burj Sahib Gurdwara Dhaliwal, District Gurdaspur, came into contact with us through Kanwaljit Kaur, who works in the Punjab Board,


Mohali. Kanwaljit Kaur told us that she had settled many people abroad in the United States and said that if anyone was interested, they could inform her. She also mentioned that with the blessings of Baba Malik, the matter would be settled and that we could consider our jobs in Punjab as confirmed. We were influenced by her words and came to trust her. This matter pertains to the year 2023. Acting upon her assurances, we deposited money as per her instructions into her accounts-one being account number 086899600010990 in S Bank, Dhaliwal Branch, District Gurdaspur, and another being Bank of India account number 635210110002612. She had promised that she would arrange our permanent residency (PR) in the United States within six months.

During this time, we continued meeting her in Mohali, and she kept telling us to wait as the process was taking time. Later, when we began to suspect her intentions because we neither received any messages nor further updates from her, we told her that we no longer wished to go abroad and asked her to return our money. She then said she would get us government jobs in Punjab instead, so we waited again. When nothing happened, we became certain that we had been cheated. We repeatedly requested her to return our money, and she said she would transfer the entire amount back into our accounts within two months. We waited again, but later we discussed this matter with some acquaintances, who informed us that our this woman named Kanwaljit was cheating people by offering fake promises of PR in America and was sending forged messages.

When the messages were checked, they were found to be fake. Then we went to her house, where we met a man who said he was her son, but after asking around in the neighbourhood, we came to know that he was actually her brother. Later, one day we read in the newspaper that this woman had cheated a jeweller in Sector 17, Chandigarh, and that an FIR No. 77 dated 29.04.2024 had been registered against her under Sections 406, 420, and 411, and that she is presently lodged in Burail Jail.

We further wish to bring to your attention that Kanwaljit told Satpal Bangar that the entire amount would be credited to his account and that he would have to refund everyone through cheques, but she never gave any money to Satpal. She possesses illegal property, which should be sealed. It is also brought to your notice that even though Kanwaljit is in jail, messages are still being received from her number 7626918302, saying that she will complete our work. We request that our money be returned. This woman has cheated many people and has accumulated property worth crores through fraud, ruining our lives. We have come to you with great hope and request that you kindly help us recover our money. It has also come to light that several cases are already registered against her, and that some employees of the Punjab School Education Board, Mohali, are involved with her.
