Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 5 for conducting a fair, effective and expeditious investigation in FIR No.134 dated 03.07.2023, registered under Sections 447, 427, 506 and 120-B IPC at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar Rural. 2.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Sh. Gurwinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Ajnala, Amritsar (Rural) has been filed on behalf of respondents No.1, 2, 4 and 5 in Court today, which is taken on record.

As per the status report and it is also submitted by the learned State counsel that in this case challan has been submitted in the Court of Ld. Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Ajnala Amritsar on 01.10.2025 against respondents No.4 and 5. Therefore, the present petition stands dismissed, as having become infructuous.
