For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed, and the original affidavit of respondent No. 2 in support of the compromise dated 06.11.2025 is ordered to be taken on record.

The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short-'BNSS') for quashing of FIR No.14 dated 18.12.2021 under Sections 204,500 of IPC and Section 66C of IT Act registered at Police Station Cyber Crime Ambala and charge order dated 13.07.2022 as well as subsequent proceedings arising out from the aforesaid FIR on the basis of compromise dated 06.11.2025. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised between the parties.

CRM-M-65244-2025 has been registered against the petitioner and he has no known criminal antecedents.

Mr. Anil Kaushik, Advocate appears and accepts notice on behalf of the complainant. He has filed his Vakalatnama in the Court today and the same is taken on record. He confirms the factum of the compromise having been effected between the parties and states that complainant has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question.

In that view of the matter, even if this case is taken to its logical conclusion, it would only be an exercise in futility as the parties have already settled their differences. Therefore, no purpose would be served in wasting the time and resources of the State in pursuing this case to its pre-ordained end. It would, therefore, be better to give a quietus to the issue at this stage. 7.
Accordingly, the petition is allowed and FIR No.14 dated 18.12.2021 under Sections 204,500 of IPC and Section 66C of IT Act registered at Police Station Cyber Crime Ambala and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise shall stand quashed qua the petitioner subject to the condition to deposit a sum of Rs. 10,000/- in the Punjab and Haryana High Court Employees Welfare Association Fund having Account No.37167209613 in State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Chandigarh, IFSC Code No.SBIN0050306.
