FIR No.0440 dated 24.08.2020 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 406, 420 of IPC (Sections 409, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B added later on) and (Sections 218 of IPC and 13(1) of the Prevention of Corruption Act added vide order dated 20.02.2026) at Police Station Sector-5, Panchkula  "#$#%#&  '  (!)* +The present petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case registered against him vide FIR No.0440 dated 24.08.2020 (Annexure P-1) under Sections 406, 420 of IPC (Sections 409, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B added later on) and (Sections 21-B of IPC and 13(1) of the Prevention of Corruption Act added vide order dated 20.02.2026) at Police Station Sector-5, Panchkula.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners too remained in custody in FIR No.20, where the allegations are similar to the those levelled in the instant FIR, though the embezzlement pertains to a different period. He further contends that one Rohtash Singh Yadav has already been granted the concession of anticipatory bail by this Court vide orders dated 13.02.2026 and 24.02.2026.

Adjourned to 27.03.2026.

In the meantime, the petitioners are directed to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer to join investigation and in the event of their arrest, they shall be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of SHO/Investigating Agency, subject to the following MOHIT 2026.03.27 16:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
