Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's wife is in the advanced stage of pregnancy and is not able to take care of herself. He further submits that the presence of the petitioner is necessary to provide proper medication, care and attention to his wife. Hence, he prays that the petitioner be released on interim regular bail for a period of 08 weeks for the same.

Relying upon the same, he acceded the fact that the wife of the petitioner was pregnant, but has delivered a baby boy on 21.11.2025. He further submits that both the mother and child are healthy, living in a joint family and being looked after by other family members and thus, the release of the petitioner is not required for the same. He further submits that the offence committed by the petitioner is serious in nature. He is indulged in drug trafficking and is also involved in multiple similar cases. The recovery in the present case is also of commercial quantity and there is apprehension that he may indulge in similar offences if released on bail. Hence, he prays that the present petition be dismissed.
