The present writ petition has been filed by petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the official respondents to take an appropriate action over the unauthorized structure of JMD Mall/Goverdhan City Center, Ludhiana. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already sent a legal notice dated 11.06.2025 (Annexure P-4) before the respondents, which has not yet been dealt with or responded to. She contends that at this stage, for the purpose of the instant petition, the petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate directions are given to respondents to consider and decide the aforementioned legal notice dated 11.06.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law and thereafter, if need be, to revisit the Court for redressal of his grievance.

Mr. Vipin Pal Yadav, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab appears on behalf of respondent-State of Punjab, and Mr. Ajay Jain, Advocate appears virtually on behalf of Municipal Corporation, Ludhiana. They submit that the aforesaid legal notice will be considered in accordance with law by the competent authority.

In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case and considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 to decide the legal notice dated 11.06.2025 (Annexure P-4) sent by the petitioner, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order, within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.

Copy of the order so passed by the competent authority be also communicated to the petitioner as well.

Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
