         #  /   0'(  ' * 1       23 4Learned counsel submits that car belonging to the coaccused Sundar was taken by the police officials on 01.07.2025 at 9.58 p.m., Annexure P-2, from which the alleged recovery of illicit liquor is shown to have been effected on 02.07.2025. He has no concern with the coaccused and alleges false implication as there were certain other cases registered against him in the same police station under the Excise Act, in 3 of which he stands acquitted while in 1, has been released on probation. He is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate.

Notice of motion.

At the asking of the Court, Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 15.12.2025. In the event of his arrest, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to compliance of conditions as enshrined under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
