Apprehending threat to his life and liberty from respondent No.4, his legally wedded wife, the petitioner has filed the present petition praying therein to direct respondent No.3 to provide adequate protection to him. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and respondent No.4 were married on 12.05.2019, as per Sikh Rites and ceremonies. Couple is blessed with a child, who was born on 22.02.2020. Unfortunately, the married life of the couple has not been very smooth on account of temperamental differences. He submits that the petitioner and his wife have been residing separately since 08.10.2025.
It is also the case of the petitioner that he came to know of alleged infidelity committed by his wife, who is alleged to have extra marital affairs with some person. When the petitioner confronted his wife, she not only left the matrimonial home but also took their daughter away. Now the private respondents are extending telephonic threats to the petitioner. 3.
Insofar as the present petition is concerned, learned counsel for the petitioner limits his prayer to direct the official respondents to decide representation dated 17.11.2025 (Annexure P.3), moved by the petitioner. 4.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3 and has no objection in deciding the representations filed on behalf of the petitioner. 6.
Without commenting upon the merits of the case and in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 17.11.2025 (Annexure P.3) within a period of three weeks.
