"&% / 0 ,'' ) ( . 12Learned counsel inter alia contends that the petitioner is merely a guarantor for the loan taken by his wife-Paramjit Kaur, who has since been granted anticipatory bail, as also Kunwar Manjinder Singh, vide order, Annexure P-2 (colly.). It is a case of documentary evidence. The matter appears to be civil in nature and financial in character, which has been given a cloak of criminal proceedings. The petitioner is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate.
Notice of motion.
At the asking of the Court, Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 09.12.2025. In the event of his arrest, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to compliance of conditions as enshrined under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
