Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not wish to press the present writ petition on merits as the matter has been listed before the Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra for final arguments on 07.05.2026. He however, prays that a direction be issued to the Deputy commissioner to decide the matter in a time bound manner.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the Deputy Commissioner, Kurukshetra to dispose off the matter expeditiously and in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months from today. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
