(Oral) Prayer in the present petition is for quashing of FIR No.062 dated 15.05.2025 registered under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 & Section 24 of the Emigration Act, 1983 at Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 30.07.2024 (Annexure P-2).

The parties were directed to appear before the learned trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate vide order dated 13.03.2026 of this Court, to get their statements recorded regarding the compromise arrived at between the parties and a report in this regard was called for. Pursuant to the said order, report has been received from the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Chandigarh vide Memo No. 129 dated 30.04.2026. It is averred in the report that Amar Iqbal Singh son of Jaswant MANGAL SINGH 2026.05.04 18:57 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-68157-2025 (O&M) Singh, appeared with his counsel and got recorded his statement to the effect that the compromise was earlier executed on 30.07.2024 between the parties and thereafter, again a fresh compromise deed was executed on 08.12.2025. Since the present petition is for quashing on the basis of compromise dated 30.07.2024 (Annexure P-2), hence, he has made a statement that he shall withdraw the present quashing petition so as to file a fresh petition with better and complete particulars.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as withdrawn at this stage with a liberty to file a fresh petition on the same cause of action with complete and better particulars. Disposed of as withdrawn at this stage with the liberty as aforesaid.
