The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 01.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-21964-2025, whereby direction was issued to the respondents to decide the representation submitted by the petitioners. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in compliance of the order dated 01.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-21964-2025, representation submitted by the petitioners has been decided by passing a speaking order dated 06.02.2026 by the Director, Education Recruitment Directorate, Department of School Education, Punjab. He has produced a copy of the said speaking order dated 06.02.2026, which is taken on record. A copy thereof has already been dispatched to the petitioners. A perusal of speaking order dated 06.02.2026 shows that order dated 01.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-21964-2025 has been duly complied with.

In view of the above, since order dated 01.08.2025 passed by this Court in CWP-21964-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.

Needless to say that the petitioners are at liberty to avail remedy as is available to them in accordance with law to challenge the speaking order dated 06.02.2026.
