The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 12.09.2022 passed by this Court in CWP-6980-2015, whereby direction was issued to the respondent to decide the issue regarding refund of the amount by taking into consideration the aspect, whether or not loan has been advanced against the FDRs. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent contends that in compliance of the order dated 12.09.2022, speaking order dated 04.02.2026 has been passed by the Inspector Grade II (A), Cooperative Societies, U.T., Chandigarh/Official Liquidator, The Chandigarh State Bank of Patiala Employees Cooperative U.S.E. Thrift and Credit Society Ltd., Chandigarh, after considering the claim of the petitioner. He has produced a copy of the VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2026.02.26 10:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

COCP-5989-2025 (O&M) -2same, which is taken on record. He further submits that a copy of the said speaking order has already been sent to the petitioner through his counsel. 3.

In view of the above, since order dated 12.09.2022 passed by this Court in CWP-6980-2015, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 4.

Needless to say that the petitioner is at liberty to avail remedy as is available to it in accordance with law to challenge the aforesaid speaking order dated 04.02.2026.
