The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 44 dated 18.10.2018 registered under Sections 436, 442, 457, 460, 427 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station City Kurali, District SAS Nagar and all other subsequent proceedings arising therefrom. Learned State Counsel, on instructions from Investigating Officer HC Veerpal Singh, submits that the Police had earlier filed a cancellation report after investigation in the matter, however, the matter was marked for further investigation.
