**** KIRTI SINGH , J. (Oral) Present petition under Section 528 of the BNSS has been filed seeking directions to respondent No.2 to decide the representation/complaint dated 23.10.2023 (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner for registration of an FIR and for initiating strict action against the accused persons who have allegedly committed cheating, criminal breach of trust and fraud, resulting in the ruin of the petitioner's daughter's matrimonial life.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has filed a representation/complaint dated 23.10.2023 (Annexure P-1) before respondent No.2 raising his grievances as mentioned in the present petition but the same has not yet been considered and no action has been taken thereupon. He further submitted that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied if, appropriate directions are issued to respondent No.2, to consider and decide the aforesaid representation filed by the petitioner and take necessary KAVITA NAIN 2025.12.05 11:20 I agree to specified portions of this document

At the asking of the Court, Ms. Guramrit Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent(s)-State. Learned State counsel on instructions from HC Nishan Singh, submits that the representation stands duly considered and the same has been filed.
