1 Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner was convicted in case bearing FIR No.257 dated 04.09.2000 registered under Sections 395, 396 read with Section 397 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station Ganaur, District Sonipat and sentenced vide judgment/order dated 08.07.2003/10.07.2003 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court, Sonipat, as under:-

3 Counsel for the petitioner contends that criminal appeal i.e. CRA-D-909-DB-2004 preferred by the petitioner was dismissed by this Court vide order dated 08.11.2011. The petitioner is consequently undergoing his sentence at District Prison, Karnal. He contends that an application dated 20.10.2025 was submitted by the petitioner to respondent No.3 seeking parole as per provisions of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 2022 but no decision has been taken thereon so far. He contends that the petitioner has been orally informed by respondent No.3 that he is not eligible for grant of parole as while being on parole earlier, he misused the said concession by committing another crime due to which he has been debarred for grant of parole for a period of three years.

He contends that the petitioner was earlier granted parole in the year 2021 and was required to surrender on 01.09.2021 but he didn't surrender at District Jail, Karnal in the mandated time. He contends that even if the said order of debarment is seen, yet, the said period has already come to an end in January-2025.
