Per contra, learned State counsel submits that 18 out of 26 witnesses already stand examined and the trial is proceeding at a good pace. It is further submitted that the present case is not one where the trial is delayed or being procrastinated on any account. at this stage without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case and the learned Trial Court shall make a positive endeavour to expedite the trial in accordance with law.
