The present petition has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the p petitioner in case bearing DDR N No.04 dated 25.05.2025, under Sections 11 8(1), 126(2), 115(2), 351(2), 19 91(3) and 190 of BNS (Section 117(2) of B BNS added later on), in FIR No.3 33 dated 25.05.2025, registered at Police Sta ation City Ahmedgarh, District M Malerkotla.

On 03.12.2025, this Court pass sed the following order:
"Learned counsel inte petitioner has been falsely on account of him being a Mohd. Imran whose fath dated 25.05.2025 against petitioner has neither be attributed any overt act, during investigation on 13 in any other case, read investigation as and when agency and will cooperate.
Notice of motion.
At the asking of the Cour er alia contends that the implicated in the present case a friend of co-accused, namely, her had registered FIR No.33 the complainant party. The een named in the DDR nor rather his name cropped up 3.09.2025. He is not involved dy and willing to join the n required by the investigating rt, Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, PARVEEN KUMAR 2025.12.18 14:51 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.
Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation on or before 10.12.2025. In the event of his arrest, he shall be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to compliance of conditions as enshrined under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.
However, it is clarified that if the petitioner does not join and cooperate with the Investigating Agency as required by the Arresting/Investigating Officer, this interim order shall be deemed to have been vacated. Adjourned to 18.12.2025."

ASI Jaspal Singh, Investigating Officer appears and states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and cooperating with the same. He also submits that at this stage, the petitioner is not required for further custodial interrogation.

In view of the above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, anticipatory bail petition filed by the petitioner is allowed and the order dated 03.12.2025 granting interim bail to him, is hereby made absolute, subject to compliance of conditions as specified under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.

However, it is made clear that if the petitioner fails to join and cooperate with the investigating agency as and when required, the State would be at liberty to move an application for cancellation of the present anticipatory bail granted to him.
