The prayer enclosed in the instant writ petition is for issuance of direction to the respondent(s) for enforcement of the order dated 15.06.2023, passed in favour of the petitioners, in Application No.02/EC/2016, titled "Sunita Devi and others vs. Randhir Singh and another".

Referring to the letters dated 12.01.2024 and 19.07.2024, which are appended with the writ petition as Annexures P-2 and P-3 respectively, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the recovery proceedings initiated by the respondent No.3- Collector, S.A.S. Nagar, are pending before the respondent No.4- Tehsildar, Derabassi. However, no effective steps have been taken till date.

Consequently, on the previous date of hearing, i.e. 28.01.2026, DEVINDER YADAV 2026.02.06 15:37 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP-36029-2025 this Court directed learned counsel for the respondents No.3 and 4 to have appropriate instructions from the quarter concerned, and to apprise this Court of the time period required to culminate the recovery proceedings. 4.

In compliance with the directions (supra), learned counsel for the respondents No.3 and 4, on instructions from the Tehsildar concerned, has informed this Court today that despite best efforts, no immovable property belonging to the judgment debtor(s) could be identified for the purpose of executing the order dated 15.06.2023. It is further submitted that a report to this effect was submitted on 03.02.2026 to the Deputy Commissioner, S.A.S. Nagar, who shall forward his report to the Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal, within a period of one month from today, thereby enabling the petitioners to avail further appropriate legal remedies in accordance with law.

In view of the above, no further direction is required to be issued, and the instant writ petition is closed. This Court, however, remains sanguine that the assurance given by learned counsel for the respondents No.3 and 4 shall be duly adhered to by the authority(ies) concerned. 6.

Disposed of accordingly.
