*** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL , J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are owners of agricultural land measuring 2 kanals, which is being used for agricultural purposes and dairy farming. On the land, there are temporary sheds for housing buffaloes, storage of fodder & agricultural tools and for parking of a tractor trolley. There are two other rooms on the portion of the land, which have been rented to respondent No.4 for running a liquor vend. He further submits that respondent No.3 has passed the impugned demolition order dated 12.06.2025 (Annexure P-5) and therefore, the petitioners are confining the prayer in this petition to only protect the temporary sheds, beyond the liquor vend, which are being used for agriculture and dairy farming purposes. He also submits that petitioners be protected for sometime and respondent No.3 be directed to hear the petitioners before passing an appropriate order. 2.

The petitioners are stated to be a marginal farmers, who are doing agriculture and dairy farming on two kanals of land. It would be in the interest of justice, if petitioners are protected for sometime till an appropriate order is passed by respondent No.3, to the extent that temporary sheds, which are being used for agriculture and dairy farming are not demolished. 6.

In view of the above, we are of the considered view that the petition can be disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to look into the grievances of the petitioners and pass an order in accordance with law after affording them an opportunity of personal hearing. 7.

Consequently, the petition is disposed of with a direction that respondent No.3 shall look into the grievances of the petitioners by affording them an opportunity of personal hearing. Thereafter, respondent No.3 shall pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. The petitioners would be granted reasonable time to remove the violations, if any, and in the event of their not doing so, the respondents would be at liberty to proceed against petitioners in accordance with law.
