CRWP-13185-2025 -2At this stage, counsel for the petitioner submits that atleast his sentence for a short period may kindly be suspended. There is no application for suspension of sentence before this Court and as such this Court cannot suspend the sentence in a petition for grant of parole. As such, such prayer is not maintainable. However, liberty is reserved to petitioner to file an application for suspension of sentence in the main appeal.

Accordingly, present petition is dismissed as there are other members in the family of the petitioner to look after his father. As such, no ground is made out to grant him parole and there is no scope for interference in the order dated 31.10.2025 (Annexure P2) passed by respondent No.4.
