The present petition has been filed by mother of the detenue under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for releasing detenue, namely, Kareena, from illegal detention of respondents No.4 to 6. It is alleged that respondent Nos.4 to 6 have kidnapped the detenue on her wedding day alongwith the gold jewellery approximately 07 tolas and has now been kept confined by respondents No.4 to 6, who have taken her away illegally and forcibly on 27.11.2025.

In compliance of order dated 02.12.2025, the alleged detenue, namely, Kareena is present in person in Court escorted by Lady SONIA PURI 2025.12.17 12:41 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Constable namely, Anu Bala (418/PKL) and she has been interacted with, by the Court itself. On asking by this Court, she stated that she wants to live with respondent No.4 and expressed her willingness to reside with him, as the petitioner has solemnized marriage with respondent No.4 on 07.12.2025 and in support thereof, has placed a copy of marriage certificate in this regard. She also stated that she has voluntarily made her statement before this Cout which is without any undue pressure or coercion 4.

In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances, no further order are required to be passed by this Court and as such, the present petition is hereby disposed of, with aforesaid observations. (SUBHAS MEHLA)
