Through the instant writ petition, a prayer has been made for the issuance of direction to the respondent No.2- Maintenance Tribunal to decide the petitioner's application dated 27.02.2025 (Annexure P-1), filed under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, and the Rules made thereunder, in a time-bound manner. 2.

Learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, submits that he has no objection if a direction is issued to the respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's application within a stipulated time frame. 3.

In view of the submission made by learned State counsel, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the instant writ petition with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the petitioner's application within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
