(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus, directing the respondents No. 1 to 3 to get the detenue namely, Israt (daughter of the petitioner) released from the illegal custody of private respondents.

At the outset, Mr. R.D. Rattewal, Advocate has put in appearance and filed his Power of Attorney on behalf of respondents No. 4 to 7 in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. 3.

Learned State counsel has filed the status report by way of an affidavit of Hemant Malhotra, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Balachaur, District SBS Nagar on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3 along PARUL 2025.12.26 12:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

Learned State counsel fairly submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous, as the detenue has already been produced before the Court of competent jurisdiction and has solemnized her marriage with respondent No. 4.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present petition and, accordingly, the same stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
