In the present anticipatory bail petition along with other two connected cases, one common order was passed by this court on 05.02.2026. Same is reproduced as under:- "1.

Petition, i.e. CRM-M-1935-2026 has filed by the petitioner - Krishan Singh alias Krisan Singh alias Krishan alias Kinda, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.0021, dated 09.09.2025, under Sections 318(4), 112(2) of BNS, registered at Police Station Cyber Crime, District Bathinda.

Petition, i.e. CRM-M-70263-2025 has filed by the petitioner - Tanmay Pruthi alias Goldy, seeking grant of regular bail, in case, FIR No.0021, dated 09.09.2025, under Sections 318(4), 112(2) of BNS, registered at Police Station Cyber Crime, District Bathinda. 3.

Let an FDR in the sum of Rs.1,05,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Five Thousand only) be prepared from a nationalised bank and deposited before the Investigating Officer by the petitioner, namely Krishan Singh alias Krisan Singh alias Krishan alias Kinda. 4.

Similarly, let an FDR in the sum of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) be prepared from a nationalised bank and deposited before the Investigating Officer by the petitioner, namely Tanmay Pruthi alias Goldy.

In order to enable both the petitioners to comply with the aforesaid directions, petitioners, namely Krishan Singh alias Krisan Singh alias Krishan alias Kinda and Tanmay Pruthi alias Goldy, are ordered to be released on interim bail, till the next date of hearing, subject to their furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court/ Chief Judicial Magistrate/ Illaqa Magistrate/ Duty Magistrate concerned, if not required in any other case.

As regards the petitioner - Sukhpreet Singh (in CRM-M-

- 2 - 69473-2025), he is directed to join the investigation as and when required to do so by the Investigating Agency. In the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on ad-interim bail, subject to his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. The petitioner shall also abide by all the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.).

Besides, it is directed that petitioner - Sukhpreet Singh would hand over his passport to the Investigating Agency or to Court concerned, if he possesses. Otherwise, would submit an affidavit, disclosing the fact that he does not possess any passport. It is also directed that before leaving country any time during trial, petitioner -Sukhpreet Singh would seek prior permission of the Court. 8.

List these cases again on 23.02.2026.

A photocopy of this order be placed on the files of other connected cases."

Continuing his submissions, learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in compliance of the order dated 05.02.2026, passed by this Court, petitioner has joined the investigation, and has fully co-operated. Therefore, he prays for confirmation of the said interim anticipatory bail order.

Learned State counsel has filed common status report dated 21.02.2026 in the Court today and the same is taken on record. Learned State counsel on instructions, confirms the said averment made by counsel for the petitioner of joining the investigation by the petitioner, and submits that as of now, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required for the purpose of investigation. 4.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

Since, petitioner has already joined the investigation and custodial interrogation is no more required; ad-interim bail order dated 05.02.2026, passed by this Court is hereby made absolute. Accordingly, present petition is allowed.

However, petitioner shall continue to join the investigation as and when required to do so and abide by all the terms and conditions laid

- 3 - down under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed of.

However, present order would be subject to the submission of passport of the petitioner to the Investigating Agency or to Court concerned, if he possesses, within a period of one week from today. Otherwise, he would submit an affidavit, disclosing the fact that he does not possess any passport.

It is clarified that in case, aforesaid condition is not complied with, this order would be considered as non est automatically. Pending misc. application(s), if any, also stand disposed of. (SANJAY VASHISTH) JUDGE February 23, 2026 J.Ram Whether speaking/reasoned:
