The present contempt petition has been filed for not following the instructions and guidelines passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in Criminal Appeal (Special Leave Petition (CRL)) No.9127 of 2013 titled as 'Arnesh Kumar Vs. State of Bihar and another' vide judgment dated 02.07.2014.

In compliance of the aforesaid judgment dated 02.07.2014, reply by way of affidavit dated 12.01.2026 of Prem Kumar, ASI, along with Annexures R-1 to R-6), has been filed in the Registry. The same is taken on record.

Though, this Court was going to impose costs of Rs.1,00,000/- upon the petitioner, however, on the request made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the same is not imposed.
